Compliance with International Regulations:
Your company adheres to regulatory requirements and standards in various countries where it operates, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
Cultural Sensitivity: Your company demonstrates cultural sensitivity and awareness in its business practices, respecting cultural differences and adapting its strategies to local customs and norms.
Due to the nature of security and integration of electronic security systems with other business requirements whether security, IT, facilities, location/s etc. many organisations do not have the internal resource or expertise to develop an in depth development of their long term security requirements. It is also difficult for many organisations to develop a longer term concept due to the range of technical and manufacturer options.
RPA can provide this experience, knowledge, engineering capability and independent comment to develop concept, feasibility and review studies with the client. We can also develop presentations to allow board level deliberation for ongoing approval.
Any documentation would include development of to ensure that implementation is feasible for the business.
Development of security concepts, feasibility and review studies are critical in the development of operational requirements that work for a business allowing a smooth implementation.
Risk assessments should be an ongoing process for all organisations as they identify the vulnerabilities of the business at that time, unfortunately many consultancy companies approach this from an individual’s expertise which only covers a limited risk level.
RPA has a level of resource which can cover multiple risk vulnerabilities providing a holistic approach to this requirement.
Typical risks:
Security Strategy, systems and procedures.
Business critical, emergency, business continuity plans.
Physical Assets: Buildings, contents, plant, equipment, location.
People: Staff, Visitors, Contractors, Deliveries, Public.
IT: Data, critical information, resilience, network vulnerabilities.
Dependencies on third parties.
Employment process of staff: Recruiting, vetting.
Individual Organisation risks due to their business, clients or neighbours.
RPA would prepare a report detailing the current risk status/gap analysis, conclusions, recommendations with associated solutions and budget costs, appropriate to the actual risk and threat faced by the organisation. This risk may vary for individual locations of that organisation due to geography or business activity.
It is also practical to include system audits within the risk assessment remit to ensure that the current security solutions meet the existing operational requirement.
As companies develop operational requirements there is a necessity for detailed technical and performance specifications to be developed. This style of document is non product or solution specific i.e. equipment, manning levels, etc.,i.e., but allows an organisation to have pre-determined performance expectations which can be rigorously tested and measured to ensure that the operational requirement has been achieved.
Many organisations adopt this format for tender purposes if there is not a company standard for the service or system to be provided. It is also possible for a hybrid thatdocument to be produced where specific elements are defined but the performance element of the specification is utilised to control the end result.
Our system design capability allows an organisation to utilise an experienced and diverse security engineering resource to develop the requirement for all types of security system installation works.
This capability is used where there is a need for a specific requirement to be developed with the client and/or their design team prior to tender to enable co-ordination of a project across multiple disciplines.
Although this type of document can be product specific where organisations have standardised on equipment from specified manufacturers it is still possible to integrate performance related requirements into the document to ensure system operational requirements.
Our team will produce documentation, project programmes, schematic drawings, site and floor plans as necessary to enable a full understanding of the requirement.
Where an organisation has a known operational requirement but requires technical assistance to move the project forward RPA can provide the resource and expertise to develop the implementation strategy and cost budgets for projects.
This strategy document can allow a client understand the prioritisation of specific tasks of a project allowing efficient implementation, minimising disruption to the business and controlling costs. -specific,
Site surveys are normally carried out as part of other RPA services but consist of a detailed review of the site/s biased for that specific task.
This requirement can be for a new project or an existing site and covers multiple security disciplines from technical equipment to manned security solutions.
Technical analysis of security systems can cover three specific options:
Security Tender Analysis/Evaluation
Typically a technical analysis is a desktop study of a tender return or the evaluation of a security companies system design/proposal for a specific project. This analysis would include a review of all information provided by the security contractor including costs against the tender document or operational requirement. The findings of this analysis would be issued in a project specific report.
